This kingfisher was loudly fishing this morning, dive-bombing into the water and then orbiting in broad swoops while she sounded her mitraillage. She perched nearby me for a while for what was almost a close-up.
These are domestic ducks, although I couldn’t figure out which breed. If you search for a domestic duck breed, Google helpfully informs you that people also ask, “Are they friendly?” and “How do they taste?” which tells you pretty much all you need to know about human nature. The ducks seem to have been left in the park yesterday.
