Only a short birding expedition this morning, but it garnered this evening grosbeak and a chestnut-sided warbler, above, on Prospect Park’s Lookout Hill.
On a walk yesterday evening, we saw this ovenbird, which inspired Peter to read from his Iphone the Robert Frost poem of that name—one of my favorite Frost poems, but this was the first time I listened to it knowing what an ovenbird is.
